Pictured here is Jason Corder, 2005 champion bull rider. Jason is pictured here riding "Gremlin." He scored 80 points
on this ride, en route to a 2nd place finish in that particular rodeo. Jason plans to be back in 2006 defending his title.
His hobbies outside rodeo are mountain biking and riding horses. Jason has several 80+ point scores and sealed his victory
on the very last day of the finals with an 83 point score on "Rebel Uprise."

In the saddle bronc riding, Blaine Huntly was the champion. Blaine lives in Dillon MT and he ranches with his family
. However, he was very consistent in appearance at the Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo, placing several times and won the
finals aboard the bucking horse of the year "Jose Quervo." That is a horse that bucked him off earlier in the year and he
capitalized on his second chance.

In the breakaway roping, it came down to the last day to crown a champion: Bobbe McMillan of Cheyenne WY edged out Tammy
Williams of American Falls ID for the Title by scoring a 2.2 second run (2nd fastest of the entire year). The breakaway was
fierce competition all year long with 6 of the top 10 contestants having a shot at the buckle heading into the finals.

Pictured here is the bareback horse of the year chosen one. This becomes a family story. On day one of the finals, Sayre
Smith scored a 76 point ride on this horse's mother " Okabelish", but in doing so, he broke his arm and was unable to compete
the next day. He was still Clinging onto the year end lead by the slimmest of margins, but there were two cowboys who had
the chance to beat him. The first was Wesley Saul who got on the 2nd place bareback of the year, "Gauntlet." Saul made a spectacular
ride, but received no score as he missed the mark out on the first jump out of the gate. Then it came down to Great Falls
MT bareback extraordinaire, Kenny Wipf, who got on Chosen One and was making the best ride of his career and of the season.
It surely would have been a Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo record, but Kenny got in trouble and was bucked off. The
air was thick with tension as everyone looked to judge Nye Howey to see if the 8 seconds had been made. The stopwatch
said 7.87, so in a frantic change of pace, Sayre hung onto the victory lap for the buckle!!!

for the title.
