Howdy pardner!!
Welcome to rodeo profiles!! In this section, we will introduce you to the people
that bring the rodeo to you. These will be the folks that have been with the rodeo from the beginning and you can see
them performing for years to come!! But first, we should explain a little more about the makeup of the rodeo.
We have all your favorite rodeo events include Bareback Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Team Roping, Breakaway Roping,
Jr. Steer Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, and even and event where KIDS GET TO COMPETE!!!! Pictured below, the calf scramble
is open to all children. There are 2 divisions (8 and under & 9-12). This is where a calf comes out of the
chute and has a ribbon on its tail - the winner is who gets the ribbon first. The winner of the 8 and under division
has the opportunity to compete again in the senior division. Everyone is a winner here - each child who competes gets
a gold Sacajawea dollar and the winner gets 5 gold dollars and a gift certificate to Beartooth BBQ!!

In this picture, you see fearless Wild West Pizzeria bullfighter/clown
Matt Corbish using his clown barrel to shield himself from the wrath of famous bucking bull "Chicken Pox." The rodeo
bullfighter is very important in protecting the lives of the cowboys. He has many hilarious clown acts to entertain
the crowd in his free time.

In rodeo, the animals are family members just
as much as the people, pictured below is a series of shots depicting a ride from a rodeo in July when the All-around Champion
of the Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo Jake Pate attempted to ride "Lunatic Fringe," a bull loved by rodeo fans everywhere but
feared and respected by all rodeo athletes. Lunatic Fringe went 3 years without being ridden but in the pictures below,
Jake Pate made the closest attempt ever by riding for 7.92 seconds. Despite the fact that he still scored 0, he was
really excited and was quoted to say: Run him in again, I will ride him if it's the last thing I ever do!"
